RiSE accomplishes this with the RiSE client software. Think of RiSE as a gamer’s operating system. It acts as a shell and puts all the features you need into one area. From chatting with buddies with full IM support of all major networks worldwide, browsing the internet, listening to music, checking your email, and more, RiSE puts the most commonly used programs into an easy to use and customizable system. We then take the greatest features of gaming such as community chat and forums, gaming magazine, marketplace, achievements and player ratings, and of course high quality games, and put them directly in front of you. The end result? A system that allows you to have the gaming community at your fingertips, and no need to go anywhere else.

 

I say this a lot: accelerated verisimilitude.

The purpose in saying what I say a lot online can be a found in the definition of a term. To me, the increased believability or appearance of a thing is coming closer to a truth, rather than forming a better disguise.

With the advancement of the Internet worldwide, I firmly believe our culture and species is evolving in its perspective. I understand that the technology in some places is taken for granted which may seem godly to other regions of the earth.

Still, world-destroying bombs are manufactured and tested, terrorism and holy wars are still sewn with presumptions of righteous wrath, and money is glutted upon the unworthy and withheld from the needy.

Even though we’ve been to the moon, I’m not sure our species is ready to spread its code to the stars yet. We’ll make it, though, with a little more ethical responsibility. So much to do, in so little time; we must find the courage to achieve rather than wallow in excess or depression.

I’m here to contribute best I can to the better world to come. And because you are reading this as well, you are here to help me do it.

People are the first node in the network of communication and a broader perspective, as well as the final node of the “endless cycle of electrons” which pixelize our expression in the information age.

We’ve come too far to let it all fall down, now. All it takes is some trust, faith, and hard work.

As you can tell, I like to write- I may not write often, but I write a bit when I get to it. I don’t read a lot of blogs, just a few in certain niches. This may change of course as I go along.
